That looked harsh on Taylor. Deffo yellow, but there were two other defenders nearby so not a clear cut scoring chance.

 

Should be yellow with players covering. Worth an appeal

 

Nah, they weren't close enough to have been able to stop the lad shooting.

He was definitely going to shoot before the other defenders got close.

Taylor's fault, caught out by a quicker thinking forward and stupidly clumsy.

 

Richards was a few yards behind and Platt further to the side. Neither would have caught him. Right decision for me.

 

What is DOGSO?

Taylor might have to wait for his chance again if GA sticks to his current policy of picking the squad.

 

When you actually want Taylor to put his arms up in surrender mode,he doesn’t.

 

How can you argue it wasn't a red, he was clean through. Even taylor didn't argue it.

 

One game ban for a professional foul I think. Three is only for violent conduct.

 

If this isn't given as a red card for an opposition player we are fuming. Easy red card with their player through one on one with the keeper.

Maybe. He’s still a long way from the penalty box and Platt was coming back to cover. I’ve seen them given as yellows but maybe red was correct.

 

Weird way to win 3-0, ending with 10 men and not really dominating.
