You know the sponsors pick him as motm for every home game? He's not really the motm.

 

Most of those motm he had a genuine claim to. I know I was there watching.

 

Don't put any faith in who the sponsors pick as MOTM. It's the player they most want to meet who gets chosen more often than the best player.

I've said this many times in the past. However against Notts County he did actually take his man on round the outside, got to the line and played a decent cross with his right foot. So he can do it, just needs to believe in himself and get his head around it.

Yep that was the chance, and as you say Banks proved it can be done.

 

I agree one of them i had a few in front of him. Of the rest, i think he's got 4 or 5 in 8 games i'd say he was a good shout for all of them. Get him at a club which nurtures talent and this lad will play higher than league 2.

 

He definitely needs to attack both sides of the full back but being one footed won't hold him back, plenty of great left footers are very, very one footed.

Banks learnt to go both ways within 6 months so there's no reason Bobby can't having the same effect with a bit more experience.

 

Lots of seriously one footed players have had careers at much higher levels than the championship.

 

I'm not declaring him anything really. But his contract is up in 6 or 18 months time I think? He'd be a punt at 100 to 200k for a championship club, no problem at all.

 

Very few player even at the top level use both feet. Most favour cutting on their best foot these days. Ryan Giggs used his right leg to stand on.

 

With youngsters we've had in the past like Staunton and FCD i never knew what position they should be playing, with Pointon he's a ten all day long. He will platy higher.

 

Point on is going to be a good player but it was 100% right to rest him. He was starting to struggle.
