They beat Morecambe away 0-3 and scored 2 away at League One Blackpool in the group stage, so they must be half-decent.

Still, we ought to be beating the kids teams.

W/C 4th December, unless they move their game on 3rd December I would guess it will be Wednesday 6th.

We've beaten Manchester City's young starlets so there's no reason at all why we can't beat Liverpool's youngsters.
Like the competition or loath it this a great tie for Bradford City with Home advantage.

Probably the easiest draw out of the 4 options, like Man City it will be more like Liverpool U19s. We have a free weekend before it as well so a chance to play a strong side like we did against Barnsley and bank another 15k in prize money

Shame we can't play it next Saturday as we have no game, not sure about the Liverpool kids?. I would imagine there would be a lot more interest and appetite from fans attending

What I've noticed about the kids teams is that they struggle with old fashioned turning them and high balls.

They won't come across it in academies where everything will be possession based so a bit of up and under with bodies in the box would scare them to death as we really should win the majority of the physical battles.

For once a Mickey Mouse cup game that actually comes along at a good time!

No game this weekend, time to rest and prepare, chance to keep momentum going, hopefully more money in the coffers and an opportunity to get to the more business end of the comp

Well considering Liverpool play the next night then it really will be Liverpool under 18’s plus Jay Spearing V Bradford City.

However, you still see some future internationals on stage but we will win with ease.

GA will want to keep the good form going, Fairly strong team from us should be enough on a cold wet pitch in December against players used to a passing game and not having to deal with our big lumps on a regular basis
2- 1 city Smith and Cook.
Has to be done on the night, so maybe penalties as well.
What is the prize money for getting through this round, it all comes in for the January sales.
