    It makes it very hard to fail the rule with so many options, I think the only first team squad players that we currently have that would not meet the criteria is Harvey Rowe and Freddie Jeffreys so as long as we picked 11 players from the 1st team squad we can't fail it. From what I can tell Barnsley had 6 players of the 10 outfield players that meet at least 1 of the criteria so they'll have no worries of any fine from the EFL.

    Reading the Barnsley fans forum pages, they quoted nine of that team that had played in the first team this season and were saying that that performance, with the players that were selected, just wasn't good enough.

    I’m not surprised Barnsley fans are grumpy atm, they’ve now been kicked out of the FA cup for fielding an illegible player lol. Horsham who I’m sure we beat in about 2014 or 15 go through.

    Unfortunately Harry is nowhere near the keeper he was last season, having said that I'd be a little nervous with the exception of Halliday the other three in front of me.

    With Tuesday's win, this season's competition has earned us £44,000 in participation/prize money so far.

    These are season's figures:

    Participation fee £20,000

    Each group game win = £8,000 (draw = £4,000)

    2nd round win £15,000
    3rd round win £29,500
    Quarter final win £40,000
    Semi final - no prize money, but each club gets a £20,000 facility fee for Sky TV coverage
    Winner gets £84,000 (Runner up gets £42,000)

    Whilst the new sponsorship deal with Bristol Street Motors will bring in additional prize money over the sponsorship period there has, so far, been no confirmation that this season's prize pot will increase.
