Don't talk rubbish. Stop trying to make a narrative that isn't there. That somehow there isn't an owner out there that wouldn't actually push us forward. And lets not kid ourselves here, it ain't Rupp who has this club financially sound, he's in for millions. Its the fans, yes those often maligned but very loyal fans that have this club being self sufficient. Because Ryan admitted the owner ain't putting any money in, its the fans and the hard work of the commercial team that sees this club able to pay the bills.

I posted earlier Ryan needs help with regards football matters (and I don't mean taking advice from Darragh MacAnthony at Posh), I dont think his pride would allow him to approach Rupp and ask him if we could employ a DoF, it wouldn't detracked from the CEO job and would give him more time to learn from a specialist, but I cant see it happening, I don't want to think what if this manager fails and the roundabout turns, something has to give, if the position has to be covered by bringing extra revenue in so be it.

Width of The Post are cowards! Them like Simon Parker know then problems at the club but never fully want to tell it as it really is.

Let’s see if they grow a pair and pinpoint the blame of this club’s failure on Sparks and Rupp or we still blaming Edin.

So, until them and the T & A stop dancing about Sparks and Rupp’s we all should hit them were it hurts also.

Least on here people tell it how it really is.

Part of the problem is when Sparks does do media he tends to come out with one or two bollocks comments that come back to haunt him!
But I agree, he can't stay quiet on the current situation for much longer as the silence is giving other people licence and opportunity to make him look inept

You notice they never address this however often you ask it. Potential savours aren’t riding in on white horses. They have had plenty of opportunity over the years even when the club was on its knees. Nobody wants to pump money into Bradford.

Agree about the financial stability, it's a positive thing. However, that financial stability is severely at risk if the footballing side of things continues the downward trajectory of the moment and will be in a critical state if we lose our FL status. People are concerned and want to try and do something proactive about it rather than bemoan the situation afterwards.

Christ, Park, is there a world in which you could even imagine City trying to be better? Let's just give up and be crap forever, eh?

Your resistance to a desire for change/improvement/innovationn is baffling. If we were top of L1 and flying then fair enough but we've been bouncing about the arse end of the Football League for half a decade, when is it enough to call for change?

We'd all still be living in caves if it were up to you.

Wasting your time they treat it like a badge of honour that they continue to put with the sham :(

I mean as much as i hate them Beeston barstewards i doubt that lot would have put up with this shit after half a decade.

Don't forget here, and this is important, we were financially stable before Messrs Rahic and Rupp came to our football club. It isn't like our fortunes have been somehow transformed. If Rupp.stays here for the foreseeable future I want him to at least show the fans some enthusiasm, because as it stands and keeps getting quoted.its not him giving the club a 'competitive' budget. It's the fans, underestimate them at your peril.

If he actually came out and said something then it may actually help but we get nothing at all.

As for the fans i think a large majority are happy for this to go on till its sadly to late.
A mass majority put up with Rahic the same will happen with Rupp.

I’m thinking stability is good and no debt is great, but then I was thinking along the lines of house buying. The majority of us on here have or have had a mortgage. We took the risk to be in debt long term, because we saw a house or property we wanted, which we envisaged living in, improving and giving us the opportunity to get on/move up the ladder. There’s very few people who purchase a house within their means.

Rupp needs to understand that by forecasting, speculating and dipping into his credit rating, that it’ll actually benefit the club in the short and long term.

Thanks for a proper answer. Says it all.

And for what it's worth. I'm not even necessarily advocating for wholesale change. I just want us to act like a proper, thought through football club.

    As a really easy example;

Recruitment - we should place strict structures in the recruitment sphere. Fr example, 85% of signings to be within the age range 23-30, with 10% under 23 and 5% above 30. (Or figures there or thereabouts).

On contracts - no contract should be offered to players over 33 greater in length than a single season.

A couple of really quick examples there. There will be myriad others through football operations.

I haven't asked for a saviour, I've asked for us to be run like a forward thinking professional outfit. Not difficult.

Oh but there have been parties showing an interest, usually stopping at the first hurdle that being the valuation for a now below average league 2 football club. Rupp has the right to value his company how he sees fit but don't say there isn't interest out there when there clearly is.
