We’ll never know but the miss at 1-0 down could have made such a difference.

 

Even though we have been beaten Alexander will have learnt a lot from these players and their individual performances second half compared with the first half.
I thought him taking the kid Pointon off at the time was a weird call but our second half performance has been excellent compared to the first half.

 

Must be said, 21 shots on goal playing away from home against a fancied team like Notts county is an achievement in itself. Unfortunately it counts for little.

Whatever the result it shows GA will need time to rebuild the club after the shambles Hughes and Gent have put us in and needs supporters to give him that time ( unless he picks Taylor again )

I thought that was one of the reasons you gave a player a longer contract, was to give them security for the three years.

 

I agree. Bizarre game, because as much as the second half doesn't mask the root of our issues, it's the most I've enjoyed watching us for at least a couple of years.

Without doubt some of Cooks misses today have been but appalling didn't we start with a strike partner, Cook and the invisible man ?.
