Posted similar last Saturday for me the first 20 minutes it could have been Hughes in the dug out, Hughes had his style of playing etched in the players minds and I thought it would be a while before they were happy to play the game showing their individual skills, as Alexander says take more risks, certainly around the box we try to walk it in at times instead of having a shot on goal test the keeper.

 

Id suggest we have more than one, but keep it to yourself so we don't upset anyone .

 

I’m sadly not at all hopeful today.
My only hope is a Newport type game and we have the ability to go at them and press.

Typical of us will be to go and replicate Newport - sadly my gut says it will be closer to MK Dons (though don’t expect us to perform anywhere as bad as that).

 

Possibly because he was played in his best position? From what I’ve seen he’s certainly not a CB or CM.

 

He didn't play in his normal position in that game, he came on for Pointon as a right midfielder. It's maybe another game you're thinking of if he played right back. Probably a JPT game as Halliday would have played there for a league game.

They think ‘Paul Cook’ plays up front for us. Tbf, he’ll prob be more mobile than Andy has been lately

 

Richards in for Ridehalgh the only change to the starting 11, Odour in for Oyegoke on the bench

 

Looking at that team Taylor must be an impressive player at training .

 

A 7-6 win with Cook and McGoldrick getting all the goals please.

 

It feels like he's one of these who seemingly does well in training but in a match appears lacking. There's often players like that and the opposite - those that don't enjoy training but the match buzz improves them. I hope Alexander sort out the wheat from the chaff sharpish.
