Rupp & Sparks Out?

He's definitely more honourable than his business associate thats for sure. I bet if you ask him if he wished he'd never met Rahic i know what his answer would be.

 

The odd couple for sure. I wonder how their partnership evolved? I don’t recall reading anything.?

The crazy path of fate Kev. As i was told by someone who met Rahic on a business level, he could talk a good game. Came across quite pleasant.

 

Well to be fair Dennis you were the one that needed convincing that Rupp loaned the club £1.7 million as you kept pointing out to me there was no mention in companies house, even though I posted that both Sparks and Mason told me on separate occasions that he had. Im just pointing out that when the club makes a big loss he is there to guarantee the debts are paid. Rupp is a reluctant owner but he’s not a dangerous owner like some. It would be great if he granted us extra cash each season but he could legitimately take out interest each year on his loan as previous owner did,this would then of course reduce the playing budget.

 

Spot in @Dennis. Why should the club pay for Rahic mess. If I was in his shoes I would be apologetic at the damage he did to our club and want to put it right whatever it took and wipe the amount off as a gift.

 

Rahic wanted to own a football club but didn't have enough money. Rupp fell for it.

 

Absolutely fateful for all the wrong reasons. Sadly the stench remaining around the club and its supporters of his era in charge will remain until Rupp sells the club.

 

I have kept up. Why does living in Norfolk prevent you attending an occasional game?

 

Which people do? We also have plenty of games down south which he could attend.

 

He is a dangerous owner because he has no intentions of moving us forward in anyway. That’s as dangerous as they come in football. Rhodes and Lawn were not great but at least they cared and that caring did result making key decisions that did help move us forward but unfortunately for all Bradford City fans they sold the club to a set of fakes.

 

I don’t care where he lives. Much as he gets on my nerves at times he is still a city fan. Up to him if he goes to games or not.

 

Well I live about 15mins from the ground and lately it’s getting hard for me to get there

 

10 years of 376 mile door to door round trips on a Saturday and some evenings , mostly driving, cease to become fun after a while, despite though the petrol being on the company car account! Southern away games were a doddle in comparison

 

What the hell has it to do with you . I go to games ( all away) when I want , when I can, not because you say I should . You don’t have a clue what my circumstances are.

 

Interestingly, my friend has a football coach friend who does footballing birthday parties. He did one for Rahic and his kid. Within 5 minutes Rahic wanted to take over and do it himself!! I cannot confirm or deny if the words 'I know football.....' were used!
