I've got to the point where I don't care about the style of play,as long as we start scoring more than one goal a game,and winning some matches.

 

Adams had been successful on a low budget and is again. We were struggling with finances it’s patently clear why he was appointed. Ans as the man himself said he probably would have been.

 

If as he seems Alexander plays with two number 10s we have the perfect combo in Pattison and Walker should work well

 

Indeed… if we look at the list:

Artell - was interviewed but not offered the post.
Karl Robinson - allegedly declined the opportunity to speak with us.
Cowley - allegedly agreed terms but changed his mind.
Richardson - no talk one way or another as to whether he was a likely candidate or not.

Other out of work managers, perhaps unrealistic, are Wilder, Mick McCarthy, Steve Bruce, Warnock, Ainsworth, Pearson, Monk, Eustace, Barton.

That leaves Alexander who, to be fair is probably the next best realistic option. He has a pretty good track record and experience of the lower leagues. Will be interesting to see how he gets on, and let’s hope he lasts the course.

 

When that can happen who knows.

 

he’s the one constant in every failed coaching team for years , you might be right he’s been thrown under the bus but he hangs about like a bad smell , offers nothing but a reflection on the leaderships uncanny knack of making poor decision after decision, not his fault perhaps but he’s a coach that hasn’t cut it under how many managers?

if he’s that good why haven’t the managers lumbered with him snapped him up in new roles?

he’s a yes man nothing else

Doyle has a 3 year contract as a coach according to his wife so I doubt that but we desperately need another keeper.

Good luck to the fella he’s got his work cut out though. The club is a mess from top to bottom and the article from DA really sums it up and I am embarrassed for the hierarchy which isn’t a position you want to be in as a fan.

I was going to say maybe with a club like Bradford you should have had a NAME manager, but then again Sparky was a NAME manager, and that went well didn't it?

Rubbish he was a youth coach as I said he got the caretaker managers job and did well. Since then he is helping with coaching with little influence as I say give him a break

Trueman is a bit of continuity and will no doubt help the new guys during the early days of their reign, so they are not going at it completely blind,

 

Promotion should 100% be the target. Anything less is unambitious. Plenty to play for and stranger things have happened. Im sick of L2 so I welcome this challenge for GA.

Listening to his interview Alexander seems to be the type of guy who relishes hard work
