This. We're going about this in quite literally a Sunday league manner, it's a complete and utter joke.

Rupp and Sparks need to be forced out of our club

Took 4 weeks for a statement from the club.
Looks like they just copied and pasted the same old cliches from 3 years ago.

I will if I deem it necessary . At the moment I don’t deem it’s so. Hope that meets with one’s (you!) approval ?

Seems you don’t understand the process trying to recruit a manager ALREADY CONTRACTED? One has to negotiate release from contract .

Can a manager leave a club?
    "); display: inline-block; height: 24px; width: 24px; transform: rotateZ(-180deg);">

When the manager leaves the club to which he was originally contracted he will be deemed to have terminated his contract early (a breach of the contract) meaning that the club will need to be compensated for this loss.

1 manager a season: well done. You made a decent appointment and stuck with them
2 managers a season: okay, so the first didn't work out, but you saw this coming and took swift, decisive action and replaced the gaffer.
3 managers a season: okay, so you took your time, you hired a caretaker, you made your appointment. Not great, but not a disaster.
4 managers a season: guys... Wtf are you even doing?

To be fair, might aswell give trueman it for now, he'll still be on his managers wage from 3 years ago won't he. No point paying him that, to sit behind McDonald, Doyle and Derbyshire in the pecking order

Are you suggesting he’s still on a manager contract or did you miss a question mark ?

It stands to reason he will be, why else would he still be here? upon his sacking, his contract at that time would have been paid up in full had he left so i imagine there was an incentive to stay which would likely involve the same wage.

The scenario of him accepting a pay cut after just 5 months to revert to a coach, or walking away like sellers with the payoff doesn't seem right

Alternatively, he could be on the same package but spread out over a longer period, which might explain why he remains a fixture with every new manager appointment.

Personally, I don't understand why Trueman wasnt appointed caretaker manager in the first place rather than giving it to a player who has never shown interest in taking it full time.

Very strange situation replacing one caretaker with another within a month.

Will Trueman be promoted to interim manager again because none of the applicants appeal to Sparks.

Trueman then gets the gig full time on the back of a good run

    Deja vu

The first thing a new manager has to do is demote Trueman. Clearly Sparks loves him and I wouldn’t trust him.

    Bring in your team.

Wouldn’t shock me if Trueman has to part of 1.st team set up and it’s putting people off.

We don’t know, that’s the point, we are guessing. You notice that many many football clubs retain the services of at least one or two of the “ existing “ team, when managers and assistants get dismissed? The do it for particular reasons, namely for them to provide inside information to new incoming staff on player capability, familiarity for the playing squad and so on. ie retain a bit of continuity. There may be an element of “ salary/ contract” but I tend to believe that’s not the main driver. They all do it from my observations. If they don’t the new manager will come in welding a white stick? He won’t have a clue?
