He's clearly carrying an injury. To call him lazy after what he achieved last year and what he is capable of when fully fit is downright insulting. Poor recruitment is to blame for why he's still having to play when not fully fit.

 

Drop him for the toothless Smith?

This is on Hughes for focusing on defenders and not attackers during the summer window, knowing full well that Oliver would be out for months. Just as with Lewis, having one person for such a key position is sackable in its own right. Cook needs to recover form but trying to do that when injured makes the job doubly hard.

 

I concede this is total heresay, however I was told Smith is the highest earner of the current playing staff. Anyone else heard this?

 

Id rather have a half fit cook over anything else at the club. But he needs another goal soon as he’s very much a confidence player

 

Cant imagine he’s on more than Cook or Smallwood?

Osadebe has won a few games for us under Kev so not surprised he’s kept his place. But he needs to step up on what he showed on Tuesday, as they all do.
