    The new home kit is bad enough but is now going to look worse still with Flamingo Land on the sleeves.

    On another note, is the JCT600 shirt sponsor on the home shirt subliminated (if that’s the right phrase) or is it stuck on?

    Just seen the new Colchester home kit (made by Macron) for the first time. Absolute banger IMO. This would have been great as claret and amber but were left with the good awful hoops, white collar and white shorts.

    Someone on twitter as asked a reasonable question, that given we use macron and city have explained that macron are responsible for the increased shirt costs then why are Accrington who will have a considerable smaller production run able to charge £39 for an adult home shirt as opposed to our £55

    The same thing could be asked about Shed Wed who sell theirs for £65 and are made by Macron. It's the club that set the price.

    Hoops have no place on a football shirt, outside of QPR and Celtic for who it's traditional. Save them for Rugby.

    I was in the club shop today, chatting to the staff about our various kits.
    I said that I’ll never buy another City striped shirt again if it has a bloody great blank patch on the back for the name and number.
    I was told that the EPL/EFL have backed down on that rule under pressure from a number of high profile clubs who’ve always worn stripes (Newcastle, Southampton, Sheff Utd, Sunderland, WBA etc) who feel that it destroys the integrity of their traditional shirts. So, in future, City striped or hooped shirts won’t need to have a plain back.

    Those with sight impairment , such as focus issues or colour blindness, can’t differentiate the number because of the striped background I think RT.
