    Decent game for a nothing competition. Some reasonable football. Pointon looks like a playmaker rather than a striker - very promising.

    Agree. Not many staking a claim without been terrible. Think Smith has had some bright runs to a ball over the top and I like his movement. The outcome sadly reflects a player who’s probably not getting the minutes he needs to get sharpness. Others may disagree but I do think there’s a player in there, but he’s a bit of a way off a starting position for us right now.

    Best side by a mile, they chasing shadows most of the half, bar chested goal and a decent save from Doyle

    Pointon excellent when he’s involved.
    Only downside …Smith does not look fit or interested so we look harmless with him the one up top. …change at half time!

    The problem is that Smith is 24 with a very poor scoring record. Is he going to get any better at his age? Probably not. We don't have time to wait for him to come good. He'll be replaced in January if he doesn't start offering more than a few runs

    I hope Smith gets a goal, because he looks a useful player - but if he can't score, any usefulness is kinda negated.

    The defence on the goal we conceded? HAHAHAHA
