I don't have a problem with him personally but do I want or believe he's the answer no I don't I'm sick to the back teeth of the connection syndrome eg Jackson, McCall likeable and respected guys but failures in the dug out.

Redfearns last 4 managers jobs have been womens teams and Thomson has had a couple of caretaker roles.

Not a chance we would be approaching them.

You might as well just give Trueman it if that's as ambitious we are thinking.

If Cowley, Richardson & Robinson want the job then the standard has gone up.

 

If competition is higher than previously, then not a chance we would be looking at Redfearn and Thompson, and I mean no disrespect to the pair

Well, I've trawled through all the names touted for the job and feel totally underwhelmed. Sparks must be absolutely bricking it, given his growing list of failures, looking at what's available out there.

He must be hoping beyond hope that McDonald can pull something out of the bag. If not, God knows where we go from here.
