    Who else would you put in caretaker charge then?. Trueman will be running the training I suspect and McDonald managing the players.

    Suggesting it's only a "bad couple of months" is short sighted imo.

    Reaching the play offs was only ever papering over the cracks imo and he never once in 18 months looked like building a team that could achieve the sustainable performances we'd need to progress.

    That makes the “We thank him for all the memorable moments” bit of the official statement slightly baffling.
    I can’t remember any at home.
    Couple of away games but as you say nothing where we thought it was at a sustainable level of performance.
