Jesus wept , who trawled court papers to find out this crap.
35mph in a 30 zone for Oggy. Hardly crime of the century..?
Harry’s is a bit more serious though.

For the record I once got a fine for doing 44 on a 40 road in Suffolk…..It wasn’t in the newspapers though?

2 seperate incidents. Oyegoke was in December last year in a black Mercedes GLC Diesel Coupe and Lewis failed to disclose the details of the driver of a black Audi Q2 in February this year.

It was the T&A I saw it, I attended a Speed Awareness Course rather than take the 3 points on my licence £90 and you didn't have to tell our insurance unless they asked.
To hear some of the excuses for speeding were comedy gold, one saying he wanted to beat his sat navs destination arrival time, everyone started laughing I'm sure the guy didn't know you can't beat the sat nav as it adjusts itself as you speed up or slow down, his face was a picture when the guy taking the course in the then Board Room now Jack Tordoff Board room explained he'd never beat his sat nav **so funny**so funny.

There are some offences you can't do a speed awareness course for, I wasn't allowed to do one when I was caught 11 miles over the limit. I believe the cut off is 10 miles over.

Interestingly this tells us their 'declared' gross income as the basic fine before costs and victim surcharge is 1% of income.

So okekoke is on £36,900 and Lewis on £92,000.

Reading some of the comments below the article has made me chuckle a bit. It seems that footballers in the public eye, breaking the law, should be immune from having their prosecutions made public.

Lewis not such the golden boy any more?

Agree........... boils my blood when clearly able bodied people park in the blue badge space outside of Asda in their Audi or Merc. Or double parking in the road with hazards on when letting someone out to go to the shop and blocking half the road off while looking at their phone oblivious to the mess they are causing.

Funny, just been watching a video of cops in the US dealing with a couple of cars they deemed to be causing an obstruction. Got them towed away. Over here low level crime id pretty much ignored around Bradford to a point where i've become apathetic to it. Even just walking to VP from the city centre, things like bad parking and driving are now the norm, don't bother looking for a parking space just stick it on the pavement.

I made a complaint to the Council a couple of seasons ago about the amount of cars parked on the pavement. I was told that there is always a parking attendant on match days. I have never seen one! It is disgraceful and dangerous both for those with limited mobility and the public, you have to walk on the road.

It’s been going on for years though, and the inconsistency is infuriating. They have no problem slapping tickets on the easy targets (eg when the car obviously belongs to someone going to the football) but have a wander onto manningham lane or Leeds road and cars are fully obstructing pavements etc without a care in the world and get away scott free

They just go for the easy targets who won’t give them a load of verbal abuse

you are right. Parking on the pavements on Midland Road is shocking. If the pavements were clear people might not have to walk in the road

Aye, oddly these were both camera fines , so no police involvement . There just isn’t enough uniform these days for the size of the population , despite claims of “ record numbers” .

Code it’s a “record” since 2013 . Apparantly we have recruited less than natural wastage !

Do the T& A actually have someone trawling through the nations court files to make a story?
I didn’t mean you personally Dave.

If they shut the road for half an hour after games folk could safety walk on Midland Road to their destination.
