Our final evening in Porto Pollensa before heading home to a dreich Edinburgh.
Majorcan drivers are the most courteous we have seen anywhere in the world. They all stop for pedestrians waiting to cross the road.
As opposed to Vietnam where you have to swerve through the traffic or you'd never get anywhere.

From my experience this is a very Spanish thing and a good way to tell locals from tourists because the locals will just carry on walking from the pavement to the crossing and assume the car will stop whereas tourists always stop at the crossing!!

Jnr walked towards a crossing in Tenerife and I panicked for a split second but he said “they always stop when we want to cross”
Sometimes they really have to anchor on to stop in time but they always do.
