Yes I’m going but I’m not going next week.
It’s the first league game I’ve voluntarily decided not to attend for 3 seasons since Covid.
There will be more like me and that should be worrying for the club bosses.
Away game tickets are now regularly reaching general sale and not selling out so there is an obvious decline in interest.

 

The challenge for them all is Sparks, Hughes, players and many other club representatives have said promotion is the aim. In fact they’ve almost said, without using the exact words, that anything less is failure.

A play off final defeat is probably the only outcome many fans will accept, and that will be reluctantly.

Therefore if there is any sign that we look to be struggling and are losing pace with the top 7 come start-mid November, I think Sparks hand might be forced into a change.

Naturally and I hope many others hope that doesn’t happen and Hughes can get us clicking as soon as possible.

 

I couldn't believe what I heard from Hughes post match. He was scratching his head as to why a team in a 5-4-1 with Derbyshire as the lone striker and a veteran midfield duo couldn't manage to press in 30° heat. Yeah, I wonder why that didn't work Mark.

 

I'm all for non-attending. The sooner we're out of this billy big balls mentality and back to trying to win matches through sporting endeavour the sooner we might actually start to get somewhere.

 

He needs to wake and realise that next week is the 9th game of the season nearly 20% of the season gone spent faffing about trying to make players fit in a formation/playing style they quite obviously don't just to try and prove a point reaching play offs/autos involves fine margins every point counts at the beginning as well as the end of the season
Wonder how he would react if told we were only allowed to play 37 games this season

Going four at the back is considered ‘radical’ by Hughes so god only knows when the penny will drop!

 

Not if the full allocation is taken, I'm not sure why it matters if they are all season ticket holders or not, a bit like the away game at Mansfield their commentators saying todays attendance was 8,525 Bradford City selling their allocation of 1700 to season ticket holders I'm sure Mansfield FC couldn't care less ?, I get where your coming from and repeated it a few times getting excited about going to a home game at Valley Parade is not something I'm experiencing recently under Mark Hughes.

Very few on here claim we are a big club and those that do are not a fair reflection of the 17/18,000 who attend games, do you actually believe the players are not trying to win games through sporting endeavour or otherwise, seriously .

 

I blame the police Sky or who ever for changing the kick off time, taking those drink breaks broke up our rhythm, clearly there for all to see.

I said midweek it had to be Afoka leading the line with Walker, Bobby and Oduor behind him.

 

He's a bit raw though and will make errors so the crowd will need to get behind him rather than on his back.

 

I think you are right but with Gilliead and Pointon either side of Smallwood and Odour and Afoka either side of Walker
