I guess many may have seen this article in the T&A https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/23783498.bantams-legend-stephen-darby-mnd-five-years/
Five years is a long time. Such a cruel disease for one so young and healthy before the onset.
Stephen was respected before the diagnosis and will always be a legend for many of us.

 

On a positive note, my wife, who follows these things, told me that there is an article in the Daily Mail, suggesting that Steph and Steven are going to have a baby.
Given absolutely everything they have had to contend with this is excellent news.
I anticipate they must have a very strong family and friends network, and that Stephen will benefit from continuing professional support.
