It's his view that changing to a back 4 was 'radical' that got me. WTF!!!!

 

Quite a different interview on the official club app to the one on Radio Leeds.

He said everything that we’re all thinking, eg:
- not at the races first half
- we looked much better with a back 4
- we have a lot of inexperience and are missing the more senior players.

I just hope that Hughes now recognises that a back 4 is the way to go.

 

Pointon was excellent second half. Halliday and Richards looked solid. The two late subs also impressed.

Going to stop listening to Hughes post match comments cos he just talks the same BS week in week out. Apparently the heat took the edge of our game!! No it was your fecking set up from the start you numbskull. Second half there was only one team in it. The crowd woke up and the Grimsby defence looked visibly rattled for a spell. That's what we want to see players trying to attack not fannying around in a formation the players clearly don't want to play in.

Starting to get really bored of 5 at the back at home to try and not get beat.

7:30 in did Mark Hughes actually say : Patto (Pattison I believe) would have had a field day today in terms of chances and what have you.

 

On Radio Leeds he said Oduor would have had a field day, which makes sense since he is the non-injured player about to come back into the team.

 

I wonder how many people picked up the revelation on the sky coverage that Hughes had applied for numerous jobs before us and had been unsuccessful in all of them. It seems the football world knew something that we didn't. But we do now.

Yes today he was awful and now only Richards and patison on the good signing list for me,so far.
