How many teams due you think will go to Mansfield this season and win?
Very few, I'd say. Of course a point would be a decent result.

 

I can tell you the total number of points their previous 3 visitors amassed combined.

Zero.

 

We have tailed off terribly.

It was very even until we started making subs and now we have no threat at all.

Hughes wants time for the players to get used to the system but by the time they do we'll have had 12 games and be midtable and 12 points behind third place.

We're somehow managing to score less goals than last season which was far and away our biggest weakness last season!!

 

All these changes just create chaos. You shouldn't be changing your defenders unless they're injured.

Are you kidding me? The negative from this game, is that we should be winning it. Hughes remit for last season was promotion. Due to that failing, the remit this season is the same, but this time no excuses. Do you think Man City fans think a draw away from home is “a good point”? If we want to go up, we want to win every game. It’s way too early to mark a draw down as “a good point”. By that way of thinking, do you roll over if we lose and say “well, they are one of the top teams in the division”? This transfer window has been a shambles - look at the team we’ve put out today. Look at the bench. You’re clueless, MH is clueless, Sparks is clueless and Rupp has always been clueless. And there in is the problem. There’s not a single game plan among anyone.

Another streak ended.

After ending Crewe's unbeaten streak, we've now wrecked Mansfield's 100 % home run.

Wanted us to sneak it, but not a bad result at all.

Contrast that to some of the other results the 'big' teams got today, and it's not bad at all.

Having so many away games at the start of the season was a mini-nightmare.

Time to make home advantage count.
