Obviously very early days to say one way or the other on his return to City. We have kept our options open as any sensible club would do. If he continues to score goals during the next 4 months, his price will increase. If we decide to sell him and he wants to stay at Wrexham they will given an opportunity to buy him but other clubs will come in for him as well.

According to Parker and Flynn Swindon are trying to sign Young permanently but don’t seem hopeful

 

So, if he scores, it's a "fluke". If he doesn't he's useless.

He's right MH would play Taylor up front rather than lose face and bring him back
Every L2 club looking for a scoring/assisting forward
We ship them out on loan to rivals

 

I hope for some posters sale that Jake's goals and assists don't dry up. They all seem to have made up their minds that we've made a huge mistake already, despite him not exactly pulling up trees whilst here.

Perhaps we have but it'll take more than a handful of games and a purple patch to convince me of it.

Not really bothered whether his "purple patch" continues or not (and it won't) I can't see him playing for us again
Flynn saw something in him that MH didn't/wouldn't after giving him a contract and not much playing time
We don't exactly have an overload of scoring strikers Cook won't score his 30 again and seems to be picking up injuries Oliver seems strapped to the treatment table and not very good when he is fit
Young could still have been useful to us is my point we will probably end up paying off his contract to get him off the books

 

If he is anywhere around 15 goals by Christmas I wouldn't be surprised if other clubs make enquiries and if we do get a good offer I can see us taking it

Exactly. As soon as another potentially good player had a purple patch, Tyrek Wright, Villa sold him like as shot - for a good fee to Plymouth.

This is a win win. He keeps scoring and his value goes up and we sell him for whatever daft a desperate L1 team will pay in January. Or the suddenly reverts back to the player rejected by Hughes as well as Pete Wilde and remember Rob Edwards - meaning that he comes back at the end of the season, at least a wiser player.
