Anyone help me out- Who was that player, who played against us a few seasons ago and was excellent - foreign name, sounded Spanish or South American. Can’t remember who he played for. Might have been Morecambe. Was a striker/attacking mid. I think a few teams were sniffing around him, and he might have moved to a higher league. Sorry for being vague. Happens a lot these days

He was at Morecambe when they got promoted under Adams and got a move to Luton that summer. Think he spent all last season out on loan and he's just signed for Bolton on a permanent this pre-season.

 

Did you know him in his younger days.

 

Kyle Edwards (WG) and Elkan Baggott (CB) both made available on loan by Ipswich. Says clubs have enquired.

East Anglian press mentioned us as one for Baggott in July.

 

It means what we all know - that there's three league one clubs in for him and we're at the back of the line!

 

As others have said, thought he was the significant difference for the first half of the second leg of the playoffs, vs the first leg. Caused us problems on and off the ball and Halliday and Stubbs didn’t know how to handle him.

Whether he’s up top or out wide, I’d very much welcome him as a loan signing.

 

I was trying to think of the name of Baggott only yesterday as we had been linked earlier in the summer and wondered whether he had gone elsewhere or whether we were actually genuinely interested.

Maybe the central defender he has had in mind to play comfortably in a 3. Still desperate for a left wing back though as priority in my opinion

Palace want him and Rak-Sakyi loaned out but Olise refused to play as he wants to move to Chelsea and a move for another winger fell through so looks like they are holding on for a little.

 

Olise is a great player but Chelsea are buying everyone and a team don’t make it so. Same last year, when will they learn that frittering away owners money won’t last forever in search of a decent team.
