    I can't fathom that about him. An absolute warrior as a player, heart of a lion. But he's such a timid and pragmatic, defensive manager. His style is awful, it's so dull.

    He certainly seems to getting the ball in and around the box. Let's hope he gets a bit of confidence and starts to create some assists.

    On the other side of the coin, hearing Halliday and Ridehalgh's names so close to the penalty area and whacking in crosses isn't quite as inspiring.
