Who knows Idle, but to let him go and not replace him would be foolish. Honestly I think he will keep what we have in the 5 . There aren’t many L2 forwards who would outpace him on last seasons observations. Is getting him moved out on loan a priority no, is getting people like Hendrie, FCD and Young out of the building , you bet it is!

Watching yesterday's friendly, especially the first half, what stood out for me was how much more pace we had and how much slicker the midfield passing and movement was.

 

Bodes well Offy. They certainly have addressed many of our concerns that we were lumbering going forward, especially in the latter half of the season.

It is gradually coming together I believe? I do like the young lad from Brentford, Oggy. He’s a unit, quick and skillful with it! . I hope he shreds MKD, mind you he can’t head a ball.

 

Finn Cousin-Dawson is on a season long loan at Blyth. He won't play for City again.

 

Evidently a speedy winger who scored 10 goals and 4 assists in the Rangers B team.
He made his first team debut near the end of the season v Hearts and made an assist.

Wagmi Crawley chairman was running some Twitter space last night about some other web nonsense his group are involved in and it just ended up having Crawley fans join asking if they are selling...... he proceeded to remove every Crawley fan who spoke up or Crawley looking twitter account from their voice chat and called them "crazy Crawley Fans"..... anyone else expecting some kind of protest the first game of the season from the home fans?

They are an absolute mess. Frightening for them really. Makes you look at Rupp and think thank god we have a steady hand (at least!).

I'm a traditionalist and would be quite happy to see the likes of Harrogate, Salford, Crawley, Sutton & FGR dumped back into non league and replaced by Halifax, Oldham, Rochdale, Chesterfield & York et al.

I know it was tongue in cheek but think of the reduced carbon footprint on our season if that came to pass.

 

Would love to see York and 'Fax' back in the league. Chester, Darlington and Scabby are 3 other away days I miss.

Its a shame BPA cant get their act together too.
