Speaking of our CBs, Taylor is in the press again talking up his long throws, which scares me because it means he's starting and from what I've seen so far I'm not exactly ecstatic at seeing him in defence.

I still don’t think we’ve fully addressed the lack of pace in the side. Hopefully Smith addresses it up top but the playing out from the back in a slow defence and slow build up in midfield worries me. Hope the lads prove me wrong. Pattison looks promising and oggy looked lively, but not sure how many other areas we’ve improved

 

I think its because he is getting paid to give his 'professional opinion' for the predictions and they are absolute garbage.

Last season is proof of that.

 

Oyegoke, Smith and Pointon will inject some pace/energy into the side. I don't think Oduor is a slouch either.

I really dont know what Hughes thinks of Odusina but he is another who can move and if it is Stubbs and Taylor at CB then he will probably need to be the 3rd man.

Caused a real stir (in Bradford city terms) this article on Twitter and I know it’s not the barometer for the whole fan base - but most post saying 14th is harsh but not confident in a top 7. Poor recruitment and Hughes tatics the main worries.

 

How old actually is he?

babyfaced. Knows plenty about the league’s going on but not sure if he’s a kid that plays too much Football Manager or genuinely a good judge.

 

He's early 20s and looking at him he's probably spent more minutes on the dark Web than he has on a football pitch

 

I think he's early 30s, around that. About 6'2 as well but yes does look young.

Twitter is a cesspit of moaners, cry babies and general negativity. It really is the pits where football discussion is concerned.

I really am perplexed as to how anyone can call our recruitment poor. Maybe they want more - thats fine and there is 5 weeks in order to address that but to call the 6 that we have brought in so far (as a collective) poor is utterly baffling.
