I was wondering this myself, City do like to blow our own trumpet when numbers are good.

Absolute madness booking a game for midday. Even before you take the heatwave into account, surely everyone knows the sun is at it's hottest between 12-3pm.

 

Surely this is the kind of knees up / sorry, highly professional sports acclimatisation trip, should be the reward for a season where something was actually achieved? The climate training will well prepare us for autumn, I expect us to be top and clear by about 12 points come Christmas.

Simply can't see the appeal in travelling to Benidorm for a friendly in a field to which you're being charged £60 for.

Meet select City fans, watch a game, while already on holiday.

I've been to two games abroad, both when I was a teenager, both in Holland (RKC Waalwijk & NEC Nijmegen) and if I remember rightly we took a few fans to both (RKC was Intertoto so that makes sense).

One time we were already on holiday in Holland, the other time we built a holiday around the game.

I don't like that you can't just turn up, though.
