Missing City Games.

First season in a long time that I've not bothered with a season ticket. I only managed six or so games last season.

My daughter is growing up fast, and I'd rather have the family time over the next couple of years before she just wants to be with her friends all the time.

Sure I'll make four or five games this season.

Felt sick at the time mate but the best part of 20 years have taken some of the sting out of it.

Was an absolute cracker, great atmosphere and we had a few with some of you in the Queens after.

 

It was a cracking game but you had to be an Iron's fan or a neutral to really appreciate that

 

Last few years I've gone to less, and none really mid week other than the play off game against Fleetwood.

Nothing to do with the owners, or disillusionment or whatever else some have said.

Mainly just down to personal circumstance and work, although last season a few Saturday games I could have got to but just couldn't be arsed as the players couldn't be either.

I'll miss games the season too, including 2 months at the start of next year due too going away.

Still will always get a season ticket at these prices though, ridiculous value for modern football. Even if I only get too 5 or 6 games, although I'll make a small loss I'll be with mates, have my seat and have priority for any potential big cup game etc. Just wouldn't make sense not too.

 

I'll miss about 44 of the league games, will be home for the the Sunderland home game and Accri gton away game.

My wife was 8.5 mths preggo and we had a priority rescue vehicle. Gutted we lost. Barmy listening to t radio as well.

 

This season for me. Blame Edin!!!!

 

'schoolboy error'....should have stood your ground early on....after our first date she asked me "so am I seeing you Saturday?"...my reply " no...it's Orient away!"...and we're still married 36 years later.
But as you said...back to the original question, I usually miss a couple of games at the start and end of the season due to cricket commitments although they are getting less frequent due to age and ability
