Why haven’t we had a 8 page presentation and 4 page questionnaire asking what kit we’d prefer?

I was just thinking about that attempted rebrand by the club. I can’t recall any of the proposed badges. What a waste of time and money.

I’m not really a big fan of hoops. Didn’t like the last one, but can be persuaded if it’s done well.

 

I always pack a few pairs of club shorts. Has the same talking point effect. Especially with the ladies.

 

I usually get a second look from the ladies in my "Speedo's" .

 

Only because the 'S' fell off.

White collar, all claret back of shirt?

 

Cant remember if it was approved but it was pitched and I'm fairly certain It's either this season or next season where kits in the EFL will have to have a panelled back, or at most a two set colours rather than stripes or hoops for colour blind or visually impaired people, in aid to help people recognise players. Don't know if it's enforced but some clubs will just choose to do the back of the shirt as all one colour. Looking at other Macron realises, Stoke have done the same with stripes on the front and all white panelled back.

One rule that did certainly come in for this season is that teams are now allowed to wear their away kits at home to help with visuals if there is a colour mismatch between the two sides playing which will mean colour blind people cant make out either team. Dont know how many teams will take it up mind you.

 

Historically we have launched the kit at 5pm on a Friday I think - so a good chance it is released tonight. Its a tad late compared to previous years.....

 

Reckon it will be Monday, certainly not today as they said next week on the article.

Not really one for kits but I am pretty sure I read it could be a new signing modelling it. Ala Chapman last season.

 

They've already done the photoshoot, it was shot last on Tuesday or Wednesday, cant remember which but Sparks said the promo had already been done at the forum. He said it was a scramble to get the players in for the shoot as some were on holiday still. Reckon Walker will have done it, he was back from his hols ages ago and lives a 10/15 minute drive from the ground.

Could be a new signing, but we'd have had to have kept the lad secret for about a week which doesn't seem to be our strong point this summer with every signing leaking well before.

 

I hope not. Never liked the pairing of white with claret and Amber. The hooped shirt we had ten years ago never looked right with white shorts and socks (although it was representing the 1903 kit), so I hope this new one is with black socks and shorts.
