    I'd be keen for Oliver to go, both for us and for his future career. He proved he couldn't play alongside Cook last season and was poor coming on as an impact sub. I can't see how he fits in.

    I wouldn’t sign Mason Mount for more than 40m when he has a year left on his contract either.

    Pattison is just an ok signing. That’s it. He could do well for his but it’s not a wow signing. It’s an average one.

    Right wing back if we play that formation...

    I also rate him, was probably our 4th / 5th best player across the season last year. Think a lot of people miss the work he does (hung up on goals and assists despite him playing defensive mid)... every team needs a Milner as I always say

    The stats suggest he was the most dangerous CM in terms of goal contributions in L2 last season.

    Did all that for a poor side. Decent age. Someone we have been crying out for.

    Alot of boxes were ticked.

    Just listened to his interview with Raynor. Said we made contact a week ago. A little worrying player was extremely keen to sign, was going begging but we only made contact a week ago. We almost served him on a platter to other clubs.

    Clearly he was plan b to Jonny Williams.

    But wouldn't he at least be expected to get a few assists from right wing back? For comparison Halliday got 6 this year.

    Considering he never got any from right wing or even in the 10 and that he hasn't even matched Hallidays 6 whilst playing over 100 games, forgive me if I'm a little sceptical.
