    Is he finally going to sign this summer ? A couple of sites seem to think he's turned down Doncaster to join us.

    Not sure I believe them, but even at his age he could destroy this league.

    I'd be surprised if he ever joined us after one of our fans gave his family sickening abuse a few years ago.

    Just had a Donny friend text me saying he’s joining us but I’m not sure. Apparently he’d agreed terms and had visited the stadium a few times but we supposedly came in late with an offer he couldn’t refuse.

    Think about it logically. We play one up front and have just handed Cook, who scored 30 goals last season, a shiny new 3 year contract.

    IF, we had decent money to spend on a star signing, why on earth would it be in the one position that's already likely filled?

    Probably nothing in it however the quote from Sparks was that this year they are assembling a squad that can change tactics so they could play two upfront Sharp often plays of a big forward

    To be honest, I think it's far fetched as well. Recent talk from Sheffield was of him getting a one year deal as he's an important influence in the dressing room. Even if he only gets ten minutes a match, he's taking that all day long.
