I don't think they realised they had misunderstood the rules and then thought of this. Ryan Sparks was still telling me last night that we had to provide 10% to Carlisle.
I think that the City fans behind both goals thing is just being used as another justification for moving people.
It makes no sense. The admin involved, more opposition supporters in the ground, more difficult policing, minimal if any impact on income. All to facilitate 600 City fans in the TL Dallas.
No. The driving force behind all of this was a misunderstanding of the rules in the 1st place.

Or communicating it well. Literally just found out now that I couldn't have got our normal seats even if it all had worked

Especially as tweets from the club said you could reserve your normal seat.

Incorrect. Its about 200 less this way.

if you actually read/understood my posts you’d realise its only to give us as much advantage as possible.

the only reason it makes no sense to you is you refuse to believe the fact that they just wanted fans behind both goals. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

To hazard a guess, they sit in midland road stand.

Stork said a few posts back they were allocated to a hospitality package. Must be for the 2013 suite then.

Not sure why I'm so surprised or why I'm fuming, probably just from being messed about and it taking so long to sort it out.

The club dont seem to learn

If they had done what they had done and only issued 2,000 ticket to Carlisle then that would hold water. The fact they have given 2,440 to Carlisle shows they have misunderstood the rules.

Depends which version is the truth

    1) Seats sold for hospitality
    2) Seats taken by EFL, club no control over it.

Been told both within last 5 minutes

Yes, I know that those in Midland Road are aware that they might have to move in exceptional circumstances but I think the point is that these aren't exceptional circumstances. There was no need to give Carlisle any more than 2000 tickets and they could easily have been accommodated in the usual places. Then all this chaos and upset would have been avoided.
Anyway, we'll all see the game and move on but the recurring theme of amateurishness in the club (new badge?) is very regrettable.

would not seats taken by the EFL be hospitality though, i am sure i read we have an obligation to provide them with a certain amount of seats, although for me A block in the main stand would have been good and prey for rain.

Well finally, finally, finally managed to get all 5 seats.

But what a mess. Lucky I could put the phone on speaker and do other things.

    Simply put not good enough!

I don't mind being moved so much it is the messing about and being lied to that is annoying me. Within five minutes I've been given two different reasons why we can not sit in our normal seats, so one of them isn't true.

Marco solution was to offer me another set of different seats, and his email address incase anything goes wrong on the night. Now that doesn't help as he doesn't seem to respond to emails.
