From this still it looks like its over the line their keeper is stood well behind his goal line and its between his legs, there is no one near him to foul him as the referee gave.

 

Nobody else mentioned it but I thought I saw their player clearly push the ball away with his hand just before this incident ...

 

We had perfect view it was definitely over the line who fouled who I don’t know

 

A win and a well deserved win at that.
Another 45 minutes of entertainment with Derbyshire making a telling difference,they couldn't cope with the veterans gile.He was excellent today.

That thread has surely got to be a wum, we all know MH has made mistakes and no doubt he knows this himself more than us all, but end of the day whatever the result of this season brings no one can say no matter how disappointing (If that's how it ends) it may be that it's not progression on our recent history, and I for one am tired of hiring and firing spin the wheel approach we've tried for many seasons. I'm more than happy to allow a likeable manager to build/learn up to something we can all get behind.

 

And therein lies the problem. Lonely and attention seeker feeds off responses.

 

The thing that interested me was that their keeper wasn't running around claiming it wasn't over the line. He seemed very passive and just keeping quiet hoping it wouldn't count.

Surely it would be better though you would have 10+ teams bringing 2k + like we did (no disrespect but Crawley ,Sutton etc are sometimres in double figures ) ,always makes for a better atmosphere when theres a decent away crowd to bounce off

 

From that angle , that’s not over the line imho.

 

You must be bitterly disappointed the way your team approached the second half, considering you brought 2200 fans. You made some noise at times but glad Cookie monster shoved your vile taunts back down your throats.

That was a great backs to the wall, sleeves rolled up performance.

Yeah first half they had 2 fairly tame efforts straight at the keeper, which he dealt with no problem. I can’t recall them having a shot on target second half, they must have been far too busy concentrating on time wasting lol

 

I've heard worse in a school playground and certainly hear worse at most City away games.

Those in glass houses etc, etc.

Yep, today we did what we needed to do. CBs looked poor on the ball today and were responsible for the penalty. Crichlow in a different class when he came on. I've heard it said that every manager knows all you have to do to win at VP is turn the crowd against the home team -after today's performance and whatever else happens that was a proud performance.
