Second half it seemed like Northampton were hanging on really. Happy to take the draw. We just need to stay within 3 points of them and we could over take them.

 

For top 3, we really need 9 points from the next 3. 7 bare minimum, but really its 9.

 

Good win today. Actually thought we were unlucky to be losing at half time but then again the two goals we conceded were truly dreadful and self inflicted.

Good substitutions by Hughes today at the right time to get us back in the game and then to see it out. Must win next week again.

 

Other than their two panto goals did they actually have a shot? Did Lewis have to make a save? I’m struggling?

Agree, they did nothing going forwards and we deserved to win.

 

Agree in the end we deserved to win, but no hiding away for 35 mins in the first half we were really quite poor. In the end a win is all that matters and only credit can be given to Hughes and the team for grinding it out.

Full marks for a bit more attacking intent today. We controlled the first half until the penalty and most of the second half.
Still to much playing out from the back but overall an improvement and more scope for optimism. Think Gillead is having his best spell in all the time he has played for the club and got a goal today for his efforts. And Walker was terrific

 

Great win today, obviously an overall performance which we could pick holes in all over the place, but looking beyond that I see it as the type of grinded out win that teams who get promoted somehow find a way of achieving despite being under par for whatever reason.

 

Don't feed the troll, he's obviously an attention seeker, what a sad existence the highlight of his week is to try and get a rise on a football forum.

 

Yep people moan about atmosphere but look what happens when we have something to shout about
