I predict Hughes will make just 1 change ,Walker for Clayton. Back to 4-2-3-1 with Smallwood and Gilliead the defensive two. Banks, Walker and Chapman middle 3 and Cook up front. He implied in his press conference that he would bring Derbyshire in gradually so expect him on the bench.

 

Hopefully City step up and win at home tomorrow I'm happy with 1.00 pm kick off . Maybe early departure back to Keeley and watch Cougars in the Challenge cup 4th round v North Wales Crusaders busy weekend .

On another note interesting that both Grimsby and Bradford made itto

We have done well in all our cup finals this season -Luton ,Plymouth and Southampton will testify to that .

Think it should be a good game IF we play like we have the last few games , wont mind if we lose playing good football.

But if its back to early season us it could be quite boring and 0-0 if you cant break us down .

I thought you looked good in the return fixture , but then Swindon , Rochdale and Walsall looked some of the better teams to me but none have done well ;Orient , Northampton and Stockport not really very good against us .

I think the league is so inconsistent its hard to tell whos good and bad ,better to just go with the points tally !

 

Funny that some folk think this is your cup final when you've had a couple of real biggies this season. You did the division proud tbf

 

We don’t tend to attack at pace and prefer to keep possession. If we allow you to get into the game it’ll probably end up a draw. If we score first I’d fancy us to hold on.

 

Would be a perfect way to celebrate a City win. Sadly, Skipton is much more than twenty five miles from Rome. I'd never make in time. You have a great weekend Rocket.

 

Yeah we had some cracking days out very lucky ,these seasons dont come round for us very often .

Tomorrow is a good day out , i dont think most will care about the result as long as we play well , its a very weird position to be in with so many games left yet nothing to play for -we are either normally fighting to stay up or to go up .I actually am quite enjoying stress free games were its not must win , that will all go again in August so going to enjoy tomorrow and the remaining games .

For most clubs' fans it's the occasional highs that keep you going. Also when you're used to scrapping around the lower leagues, seasons like you've had mean a lot more and really make a difference. I think most folk on here would agree that it's great to see a proper club like yours make an impact like this season...saying that, obviously I hope your team dies on it's arse tomorrow, we really need it

 

Chapman…after the last showing. Not for me , he was a fish out of water , on the left.

 

What's happened to Nevers? I know he was injured but from the bits I've seen of him, he hasn't made that much of an impression.

 

I agree.
A lot were clamouring for him to start but he really failed to make any impression,bar the one run when their player hauled him down.

Im still to see him have a massive impact on any game I’ve seen.

 

Walker in for Clayton as the only change from Carlisle and back to the 4-2-3-1 for me.

Would like to give Bola a chance over Ridehalgh too but don't see it happening.

 

He made an impact during his cameo against Colchester. That's about it.

 

Same with the lad Costelloe no mention of the lad.

 

I'd put Costello back up with Cook. They had a decent partnership with Costello doing the dirty work

 

Is he still not injured?

 

Oddly enough Costello and Chapman scored some cracking goals in training.

 

So is Costelloe fit do you think ?, it seems to have gone quite with regards the kid.

 

Trouble is Both Costelloe and Gillead share the same shooting boots ....
