I got an email a few weeks ago, something about my checking my payment method details were up to date.

There is a little info on the enhancements on the EFL website. But it's down to individual clubs to take advantage of each one.

"Improved production values are being implemented across the online broadcasting service, providing Clubs with the scope to introduce bespoke commentary as well as on-screen graphics. Some midweek Championship matches will also benefit from a four camera setup while additional enhancements to iFollow include more in-game statistics via the app, mobile/desktop websites and an improved match centre."

Yeah I am hoping we get commentary, there is something odd about watching Football on the TV with no commentary.

Only if you’re local though, of course. I can’t get commentary in the South and used ifollow last season but haven’t bothered this season

 

Seems you can now watch BCFC games live if played other than a Saturday in the UK for £10 per game with live commentary.

Or use a vpn (careful which will work this year) and watch Sat games too at €6

 

Or just get an IPTV service that will have the games :thumbsup:

I know of plenty that show actual channels from wherever in the world, and PPV but restreaming city ifollow games?

 

I've not got 100% confirmation yet but have been told we are one of the club's being streamed, I'll probably know for sure a few days before, we appeared for the last 6 or 7 games last season.

I don't see why it was £5 a game last year (think I paid for around 20 away games last year) for those abroad but the games available this season will be £10 a pop, seems we just get shafted for the sake of been shafted.

 

Let us know (privately or on here) when you do please. Always interested. I had a season pass last year even tho I have a season ticket as I miss some games because of the little one. But they started blocking vpn's at the end and always took some work getting it working, especially out and about

 

I’m on Arran when the game starts it then plays music

 

It's a new deal that the EFL have agreed with Sky that they can stream all midweek Championship matches and any that aren't on Sky can be streamed on ifollow. The deal now means that league 1 & 2 clubs can show any match live on ifollow apart from 3pm Saturday's, bank holidays as they aren't allowed by the 3pm blackout law and any that are shown on Sky.

 

£10 a game seems reasonable against travelling costs and entry, City charged the same for streaming the odd game to VP

 

Think they have set the price point high enough to off set some of lost income from ticket sales, the £5 from those abroad is just extra cash as they were never going to go to the game
