Well that shows what I know. Banks was awful when he came on.

2pts dropped. That is not a point gained.

Hughes said he would use squad and change it. He shouldve done that at start, a midfield that was tired on Saturday all started again.

Forward off centre half on with 5mins to go says it all.

Decent point. Thought we were poor going forward TBH, but the back four were all very good and Lewis again made 2-3 good stops.

A CM without Clayton worries me but credit to Smallwood and East for holding strong.

Disappointed we didn’t test the keeper outside of the Cook header that hit the bar. However got to be satisfied with the result which was fair to both teams.

Walsall were fair game. Thought Knowles was the standout player who’s deliveries into the box were excellent.

    Correct Dave.

Of course we'll have some on here, thinking that promotion teams create lots of chances every match and play scinitliating footie for 100% of the 46 matches ;)

Every promotion winning team, we've seen had one of these 'roll your sleeves up' performances.

Decent defensive performance. Kept the Walsall lads at bay

Lewis made some good saves but his distribution for the majority of the game was poor

Stubbs & Platt were solid again

Ridehalgh was good in a positional sense, cleared his lines but usually ballsed up the clearance or pass

Halliday had a good game. One of our few attacking outlets

Smallwood, Gillead, Clayton did the best they could. All looked leggy an needed a rest

Walker did okay. Should of squared it for Smallwood in the first half

Costelloe was shit. Ran around like a headless chicken an lost the ball every time he got it. Should of been hooked for Chapman.

Cook did the best he could. Should of gotten a pen in the first half. Defender was all over him. Didn't get much service so can't really fault his display

Changes should of been made sooner. but it is what it is. Walsall are solid at the back an looked the part. A good point. Onto Newport on the weekend

I forgot about that. Is that 6 draws in a row? Can't be far off some sort of record.

Glass half full - Stubbs and Platt immense at centre back. They've created a properly solid base for us. If we can just sharpen our attacking threat...

I'm struggling to understand what you're after. Both the 1982 and 2013 teams had lots of those types of performances and no-one was calling them woeful.

I genuinely think that two many fans expect the sexy football that we are fed 24/7 from the top division in Europe. This real D4 footie. Under McCall, as Flynn did once - we'd have been stuffed today.

What's your opinion on Stockport only drawing at home to a relegation threatened team?

A tired leggy display and frustrating, Walsall definitely the better team and wanted it more. Zero shots on target, but we’ve come away with a valuable point and haven’t conceded. I’ll take that all day long

Safe journey banchums and see you at Newport for 3 points

Poor result that. Should be winning against a side in such poor form if we have aspirations of automatic promotion.

Positive was the defence who performed well again and stood up to the physical challenge. Don't think we conceded a clear cut chance tonight.

Not sure what Chapman has done wrong after impressing against Colchester but Costelloe was woeful again and doesn't bring anything to the side that Chapman doesn't.
