I still think it’s 50/50 in where we finish. We have as much chance of finishing 3rd as we do 8th. It’s tight where we are at the moment.

    Let’s see what happens.

Didn't realise their recent away record was that good. I thought they were one of the better teams to come here - certainly better than the likes of the unambitious Doncaster, Crewe, Wimbledon and Tranmere.

But like the best teams in their respective decision, we got better and kept trying new ways to attack, i.e. like Celtic are currently doing. That was a first for this season.

Well my take on yesterday . We got the job done, its all about momentum and gathering the points.
It did feel sweet though, after losing at their place to an injury time goal and their tactics. The guy who was supposedly injured
laid in front of the dugouts off the field of play , who rolled back into play to try and get the game stopped and the one at the start of stoppage time , who ran in front of Halliday taking the throw in and then fell over holding his face, just two examples of their slowing the game down/ time wasting. As i said job done and on to the next game. Wallsall and Newport both winable. Carlisle away to Swindon next Saturday, which will not be easy, we could find ourselves in those auto spots.
PS that Andy Cook fellow is still shite

Agree with this, I think (and not unexpectedly) a lot of player ratings and fans ultimate viewpoints are based on tangible moments of impact (goals, chances, killer passes etc) but young Costello provides something less eye-catching but nonetheless invaluable to the team.
Would love to see him get rewarded with a goal of his own

Hughes said in his pre-Colchester interview Derbyshire should be back on the grass after our midweek game, now whether he's fit for Saturday at Newport is another thing but quite happy to stay with young Costelloe.

Derbyshire, Oliver, Nevers and Eisa . All attacking options out. We would have one hell of a squad to pick from, if all were available.

The way the whole club celebrated Cooke’s goal yesterday was a joy to behold. Cannot recall such scenes for a long time.

That’s all he’s missing Simon. His confidence will go up a notch.

Isn't Walker suspended for Walsall. This was, I think, his fifth yellow card including the two at Wimbledon

    Ahh fair play!

Probably one of the reasons he's been reluctant to play young Banks, is discipline.

As fans we often focus on the threat players pose, but discipline is huge for those in charge.

The way everyone ran straight towards the bench to celebrate was great to see, seems like they're all in it together and we'll need that bond in the few weeks coming
