Poor performance. They've been the better side. Its all very congested, and we have no real fluency or urgency. Fairly typical home performance. Not good to watch. Disappointing, and not good enough.

Every single home game this season we've played our best football in the first 20 minutes. Done after that.

Colchester have 3 or 4 very handy players indeed.

He's constantly trying to make runs and move the centre backs about, I'll give him that at least.

 

Best way to put it , anything else is word salad.

 

Need to take a leaf from their book and put the ball into dangerous areas. We seem to get to the box and look to play intricate passes, when letting one fly might be the better option. Their keeper hasn’t had much to do again.

They’ve got 4-5 decent players who are causing us problems, certainly on the counter. Jay is quality, really composed on the ball and playing today’s game how we like to see Walker run the game.

Walker himself doesn’t look 100% fit, shown in the rash challenge outside the area at the end of the first half.

Need a blast out of the blocks straight from the off of the second half. Some more width from Halliday and Ridealgh and a little more spark between Clayton’s vision and passing range and Costelloe’s movement which looks a nice link up.

Not a terrible half, but need to step it on....

Not having a go at the referee but how the hell does he only get 1 minute of injury first half, every chance they get their wasting time.
