    i think with our current good form, and the chance of possibly making the auto's still being on ,most season ticket holders will attend on a Saturday. Cold mid week winter games are a different thing. Many fans bring their kids or the more senior fans, or those that travel a distance, find it harder to be there, same as any club really.

    I think you'll be wrong on this. There's a different buzz and vibe for tomorrow which has been absent for a long time and a fair few who might not have been tempted recently will be there tomorrow. If there was no appetite for this game they wouldn't have shifted so many extra tickets. There have been games where the actual attendance has been way under what was announced but that won't be the case tomorrow I'm sure.

    It usually looks pretty full on Saturdays you can get a good idea by looking at the upper tier in the main stand.

    I understand your point that not all sold tickets actually have people sitting in the ‘sold seat’.

    You have however come up with a vague unsupported figure.

    Have you any factual evidence to back up your comment of 3-5K unoccupied seats? Heresay at best.

    Secondly do you think that City has a substantially different actual seat occupation than other clubs? What actual evidence do you have?

    So should every club in the league have figures reduced on a similar percentage?

    Yes, not all seats will be occupied, but they are sold. Perhaps there should be two figures, seats sold, seats occupied. But to target City in the way you do, is well….

    Checked this morning kop 5 , main stand 13 not including A block midland 46 and good old norman 94, 158 seats available.
    21 100 available on a match day, so approaching 21000 so;d by my reckoning.

    They are still selling, but now at full price. No seats now available in the kop and only 10 in the upper main stand.

    To be fair, it doesn't help that you can't read the worn out seat numbers now. Regulars obviously know their own seat.

    I've had to politely move on fans from our seats on a couple of occasions.

    Normally we arrive at VP around 2.50/55. Straight through the turnstiles and at our seats before the teams come out. Planning on getting there about 2.35 today. The last time we had something like this on, the queues to get in were huge and we missed the kick off. Also it gives time to explain to people, who might be sat in your seat, to move to the one which corresponds with the number on their ticket.

    Looks like we aren't going to agree on this one and I'm not going to debate the situation, I think those who attend today will make their own mind up on the actual attendance figure, at the end of the day those season ticket holders have already paid their brass to the club and as I posted WILL be counted in the over all attendance today.
