For this match perhaps we should limit the crowd to 4,500 and make our lads use the away dressing room .. ?

I am down for the match, bought my ticket weeks ago so paid full price.

I would love to see City hammer Colchester as that 9-1 defeat still rankles, coming the week before we were all off to Highbury for the FA Cup match.

Like all clubs it’s down to luck with referees nothing to do with the crowd or bias.
We are in debit with them this season let’s hope it evens up in the last set of games

I see Colchester have appointed Ben Garner as their new manager, but he will just be observing on Saturday.
Ross Embleton will be in charge.

Ref on saturday has given 3 red cards in his last 4 games. He's been in charge of city games twice previously, a 1-1 draw at VP last season to Barrow and this seasons 1-0 away defeat to Salford in the pizza cup.

I don't think there is anything to worry about. They were his first red cards of the season and they were all more than fair. 1 was for a Bristol Rovers player leading with an elbow into the goalkeeper, one of for a Portsmouth player getting a 2nd yellow for pulling back an opponent and the other one was for studs into the chest of the keeper

Flashbacks to one of our players getting wiped out by studs to the chest, but for the life of me can't remember the details of it...

Every team in the country is in debit. Find a forum that say they aren't. You won't.

I wonder what MH will do. It’s tempting to stick with the same system after a great performance at Gillingham but given our struggles at home, and his comments after Barrow, I wonder if he’ll switch to 4231 and play with wingers.

It would be a gamble after a good run of form but the narrow 442 definitely seems better suited away from home.
