That Cook bloke is full of confidence. Irrespective of his volley or dinked finish, feed Cook. Boy, Hughes as a CF whom played at the highest level, you'll understand his desire to score more.

 

Do we know how far off that shot was, someone said it was close , but I suspect that was watching it on ifollow?

 

I was well wide but looked spectacular for the cameras I guess

 

Fans were saying how mad it was to have the second top scorer on the bench and were proved right. Let's forget this idea Andy Cook needed a rest or gets injured, for most of his career he's played nearly 40 games a season or more.

 

With all the hype around Vadaine Oliver I just think some fans and even Hughes were desperate for him to be better than Cook and it only took 1 bad game for him to be ousted out of the starting XI.
Sadly for Oliver and for Hughes I think it’s now been proven who the better striker is.

Yes maybe it did look closer than it was but still a great skill, as @bantamdave41 says Cook has belief every chance he gets he'll hit the target.

I'm not saying he isn't earning his place in midfield, I'm asking why he should be preferred at left wing back over the more conventional options we've got.

 

Other than perhaps Walker ( I hope I am wrong) I feel he will go with the same 11?

 

We were talking about if he switched to 3 at the back Kev and I don't think he'll start the game with that so I agree he'll be hoping for something close to unchanged if possible.

Same here. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it back. Got to say, in my 60 years of going, that has to be up with one of the most skilful, individual, clinical and deftest finish goals I’ve ever seen from one of our players. Not bad for a “shite” player.
