Cheap tickets for Colchester (h)

I think they would turn up in numbers for the last game of the season. If the shoe was on the other foot, we’d take a fair few down there for the final day out of the season.

Just why does that bother you so much, the club have their brass I don't see a problem ?.

 

If we need a result going into the last game of the season v orient then we won't need to charge a fiver for it to fill up. People should be happy to pay full whack for a game like that

 

Records broke ain't it Dave. I buy a season ticket and I can guarantee you I will not go to all home games. Football is my main go to but it ain't essential. I have other interests ( as identified above) and commitments.

As for this initiative, good on the club. I mentioned it to a couple of customers at my bookies today and the initiative, has peaked their interest. Who knows if it will result in a sale but cheap ST or matchday should be applauded.

 

I just don't see the point in even commenting on tonight's attendance fans will have their reasons for not attending why should that bother anyone else, I just don't get it.

 

Was a sell out in December for an early kick off...

 

Damn sure a few will open at 10am, and a positive outcome would massively boost post match, bank holiday afternoon trade

 

Stockport too if I remember correctly? £1 a ticket and we won 3-2 on Peter Taylor’s final game? Can’t remember the year.

 

Was it a sell out? It looked a good following but there was still plenty of seats available around me.

Perhaps with lads standing up at the back it made for a few spare seats. Certainly didn't look completely full though.

 

Had to double check my self . Think we went on a run of about 6-8 away games round that time selling out .
Heard from someone working in the club shop another 700 donny tickets on the way . Hopefully it’s true and we can sell out the 4000

 

Cheap tickets for one off matches are a good idea as long as they are not repeated on a regular basis devaluing season tickets

 

Pretty sure clubs can only do a couple of times a season.

I’d do it 2 or 3 times a season for unattractive mid season games which otherwise wouldn’t sell well, pointless doing it when you’d get thousands in and lose money. A game against Colchester is very much the right type of fixture to do it.

 

The London , S/E based City fans usually provide 400-500 alone on a Tuesday night….so I’d expect we would top 1k?

 

Followed city from 78 ,season ticket when I'm not working , dodgy fire stick and I can't be arsed with that ...... Totally f@#£ed off it with all .
