Surely we will ask for the extra 900 that a lot of well supported clubs get??

T and A says 3300 tickets sold. Wow our fans just don't stop believing despite some abject performances on the field. This has the makings of a significant fixture if we can get the right results in our next 2 home matches.

I didn't actually think we would sell out. I thought we would push about 2,600/800 but with 2 weeks before the game, surely if there are more tickets to be made available they would be snapped up too.

If they give us many more tickets however there might be more of us than there is of them.

Should be a great atmosphere and glad I got my tickets last week. Absolutely baffles me that as soon as it is announced as a sellout on social media, some fans moan like hell about it being unfair and they didn't have time to get a ticket :confounded:

I prefer to go down to the ticket office myself Steve with being retired it gets me from under the wife's feet and have a natter with Mick Lamb, why would getting them online and posted be a problem, if they had the loyalty points it no problem.

You always get those morons. You could literally buy them up to a couple of hours ago without any restriction on sale, yet 2 min after the sold out sign comes up and people are moaning. I bought mine on Thursday and about 1k had been sold by then. Well over 1k made it to general sale which has been live since Saturday.

Saturday's result will have played a part in shifting the remaining tickets but people still had all day Sunday to buy one, the ticket office even warned people of low stock this morning.

Wow. I was thinking of going down to buy tickets on Wednesday, more fool me for underestimating they would all be snapped up by then

Like I said earlier, I didn't expect a sell out so could have easily fallen into that trap myself. That would be me not acting soon enough rather than the club being at fault like some see it.

Someone mentioned Sunderland got 4,200 tickets a couple of seasons back so there is a chance of an extra one or two blocks becoming available.

I did notice that when City put details of the tickets on their website, they didn't use the term there will be no further allocation like they have with various games this season.

I must admit I prefer to buy in person myself, normally on a Friday as i'm not working and probably already running errands, plus it saves on the web fee charge. Although it was a big allocation, I really didn't want to risk waiting until last Friday so bought online. As it happens we hadn't sold out by then, but having done a lot of long-haul games this season, I would have kicked myself if i'd missed a local one like Doncaster just to save £3 :joy:

I think a lot of fans realise, that compared to previous seasons, we're on the right track. Yeah, there has been some dodgy performances (the Northampton one annoys me more than any other, since we've been back here) but at least we're fighting for promotion in mid-Feb for once!!

Mind you, our fans watch us away from home regardless. I remember going to Tranmere for the last away match of 13/14 and I was in their end (with my step-son a Liverpool fan and his mate, who unbeknown to me was a closet Tranmere fan!!).

The City following was amazing and the noise we made was unbelievable. I just had to keep quiet when we turned it around and won 2-1!!!! :zippy:

    Friday was general sale.
I got 8 so we could sit together.
There was only 1k left on Friday afternoon.
Took 5 working days to sell out in total.

Was that the game that effectively relegated Tranmere (even though they would have still gone down with a win due to results elsewhere)?

Aaron McLean "Goal Machine" :joy:. Fantastic away end atmosphere

We've eyed up the Tut and Shive just round the corner from the train station as our drinking destination.
I've booked 2 return taxis as our return train is at 5:23pm.
12:26 train from Leeds will be rammed I think with all the supporters who got flash sale tickets for a quid.
