Evans said in his pre match interview the next three games would test his team but he backed them to do the job, lets hope their games against Stockport & Mansfield end in the points being shared, hopefully we do our job on Tranmere & Barrow, but if we don't then their results mean little, we have got to improve our home form.

 

We need to concentrate on ourselves.

We’re currently not good enough to concentrate on others.

 

We need a 90 minute performance not 45 minutes

 

Always nice for you guys/gals who put the effort in to go down to the likes of Stevenage to travel back with a good result under your belts.

I'm sure Bristol Rovers and Bolton were as cynical as you about their chances in the last two seasons.

You seem to react to league positions a bit too much. Don't worry it's not 19/20 and the season is suddenly going to be abandoned.

However, If the gap is still the same with 8 left, then you're scepticism is valid.

But not when there's 54 points up for grabs.

 

Yes its been discussed many times @Rogered Tart putting the stats up we would have been run away leaders with regards our first half results and 18th with our second half results, lets hope today is the start of getting our second half results right but not as you say at the expense of the first half.

 

And how much better does it feel to be the ones winning the game in the second half rather than throwing away points as we have done so many times this season.

 

Next one for me and the grandson is that long trek down to Doncaster Rovers with the Dolly crew , yes I know part time supporter.

Bolton and Bristol Rovers were better teams than us.

This is a poor league currently and we sit 8th. It’s not acceptable but luckily still points to play for but in truth we should be walking away with this league.

Currently as a team we are failing but enjoy the 3 points we got today.

They're away at Newport next who just won at Barrow. Will be a tough game.

Newport, like Gillingham, will prove harder opponents in the second half of the season than the first it seems.

A fantastic win today, credit must be given to the lads and Hughes. A massive 3 points against a difficult Stevenage. Focus now must be on Tuesday and Saturday - 6 points required to keep our promotion hopes alive. We must back it up. We need to go on a run. You have changed your tune-what has made you believe in the team now?

 

What about scepticism based on our performances? If we were playing better at home I'd take a lot more comfort from that to the extent that the fact we are 8th wouldn't bother me. I had a feeling we'd get something today. I even backed us to win. Unfortunately based on what I've seen at home this season I'd be pleasantly surprised if we get more than 2 points between now and this time next week.
