Will be something like that. Massive pressure on Walker being the only creative outlet on the pitch. No wonder he gets fired up.

2 points per game is absolutely automatic promotion form. Clearly you'd then have to get near to matching it away though.

 

Nah, Cook must play because he's better than Oliver and gives us a credible goal threat. Nothing to do with the whoever we might be playing.

Horrible isn't it? However, as someone posted earlier, it's defence that wins you matches, not goals. With this tactical masterplan in midfield, I'm fully expecting us to go on a winning run, unbeaten til the end of the season. Promotion by Easter.

 

Always liked him as an L2 player, but reading Burton's forum, didn't cut the mustard at L1. They seem happy to get a fee for him.

Honestly would have had preferred him to Walker this season, given its been a mare for the lad - still, Walker is probably the better player.

Just one of those things unfortunately. Very much a wasted season for him so far.

 

As @Bigrod is fond of saying, win your home games and draw your away. If you only average 2 points at home it does mean you need to average two away and we are nowhere near that, hence my response to Park

Need to get back to winning ways and try and get some momentum after a crazy period of postponements.

Back to 4231 for me with Cook up front, Walker behind and Smallwood and Clayton as the deeper CMs. The wide areas is the biggest dilemma, not sure what the situation is with Banks and Chapman but would be good to get them back into the team. So far I’ve been pretty underwhelmed with Costelloe.

 

Having just listened to the press conference it sounds as though Andy Cook's broken nose is still a worry.
I think those expecting him to start on Saturday will be disappointed.

 

Didn't Lee Mills come to us with a broken nose and two black eyes and still play?

Might be misremembering, but I'm sure he did
