Yeah, we're not a Premier League team, we can't just say our players have to move abroad lol

Hey Yann, enjoy Belgium, we have a cracking feeder club out there lol

Don't understand where people think players like Songo'o will go. Over half of the league are in the fight for the play offs and in the National League very few teams will be able to pay a sizable amount of his wages so that limits it to a list of 10 at most. If we decide to keep him then he takes up a place in the squad, takes up wages and you risk having an unhappy player at the club. The player himself is also going to want to go to a club fighting at the top end rather than a team at the bottom.

No it’s because one injury to our CB’s and we are short of cover and our midfield isn’t that great.

He was a great player to bring off the bench if winning and wanting to protect.

Problem for us is that we don’t blow teams away 2-3-4 nil and most of the time hanging on.

You need players like him that are strong and can bully other players about.

My point is, why keep paying a player that is not in your plans and has moved down the pecking order.
You do know we are Bradford City, not Manchester City and that our player budget is not a bottomless pit or we have the power to say to Halifax town, you are having our player on loan, because we do not want him to go to a team we are competing with.

Kelly , Odisina centre half cover and as much as i thought Songo was decent, he does not get anywhere near that midfield.

Would we have turned down a fee if it had been an offer from Walsall I very much doubt it, that would have been poor business.

I've always had a lot of time for him. His work in coming on as an 'enforcer' has been vital in a fair few matches

As Hughes said its not what the likes of Young does at Barrow or in this case Song'o at Walsal its about what we do and he'd back us, well he would say that being our manager ;).

LOL!! My thoughts exactly when it came to Foulds and certainly when talking about Sutton.

I just think that you can't buy the streetwise value Songo had. There was no more of a reassuring site to see him coming on with ten minutes left - his label 'the finisher' is well deserved.

Doesn't change my mind that automatic is still very much possible.

I think a lot will be made about the fact these transfers are loans.

But for me, that's more a technicality.

I'm not expecting to see many of these loan players coming back, maybe Foulds, but certainly not someone like Songo'o.

It's as good as a free transfer IMO, and if we'd released him, he'd probably still have ended up in the same place. What's the difference?

Good luck to Yan,I liked him.
But what I DO NOT LIKE, is loaning players out to a team in the same league as us, it does not make sense and could backfire

    Our midfield is poor.

Look, no one is saying he should start but football is a squad game and as I say we sometimes need different kind of players to come on and protect us in games.

A few matches. To be fair, Hughes might have wanted him for those few matches but with 6 months left of his contract he needs to show more than that to get another contract at another club

Defensively our midfield is alright , attack wise it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion and hopefully walker sorts himself out. Songo as a defensive player is not getting anywhere near the starting line up .Do we keep paying his wages so he can come on for 10 minutes if we are defending a 1-0 lead
