I still have just about enough interest to watch games on ifollow. But that's hanging by a thread tbh. It doesn't wind me up. I'm past that. I'm apathetic almost to the point of sacking it off completely.

 

I preferred the tippy tappy football playing football in triangles in the opposition half. Hope that MH changes back to Scott Banks back for the Mansfield game.

 

Costelloe was crap in all honesty. No threat at all.

 

Awful game but I'd have taken a 0-0 before so no complaints on the score.

Failing to see why Oliver is starting? His heading isn't great, his hold up play isn't great, no pace to his press, I just don't get it? Eisa and Costelloe aren't central threats but that's a diamond thing, we get penned in centrally and just have to pin our hopes on long balls and flick ons.

Truly awful to watch is Adam's back. Thought bola was poor. Actually thought Derbyshire looked alrite I'd start him with cook. Oliver just does nothing for me

Absolutely!! I was looking at his throws and thinking maybe it’s cos he’s got no neck and is all upper body, that it looks like he’s not throwing a full throw. Glad you also noticed!

 

Look a point is good and I am glad we didn’t get bear but it was torturous to watch. A toothless midfielder and no width. So nothing to frighten the opposition. The striker cannot score unless they get supply and there was nothing. No threaded balls plated quickly. Backwards! Defence looked ok to me.

 

Yep! What's not to like

1. First time at the beginning of February in seven years that we're firmly in a promotion race
2. Playing a team whose taken more points than anyone, during the last three months
3. Three of our most creative players not playing
4. New players who've not had much game time, can only get better

But like me you're going to be labelled a happy clapper

Will gladly take a point and it was a pretty good defensive performance.

However, the less said about the attack, the better. The formation change has stopped us getting bullied in midfield but has removed the little creativity we had left in the side. No width and not a single good delivery into the box either from open play or set pieces.

Clayton looked decent enough but tired, Bola looked terrible and Derbyshire was useless.

Gilliead played pretty well but the decision to dive instead of shooting in the first half was scandalous.

 

if i was Cook, i would be looking to move on, clearly Hughes does not want to play him,
Brought Oliver in , who misfired, Cook gets the shirt and bangs them in for fun, has a 3 game spell without scoring and is dropped for Oliver , who has scored in only 1 of the 5 games he gas started. But he brings more to the team than goals according to some, then he brings on a guy that has not played proper football for years. I thought goals win games.

 

Oh I wasn't impressed either. But we could have carried on playing for 10 mins after they went back into the dressing room and not scored.
