What do you want people to say its another great performance with 0 shots on target so far again.

 

I’ve enjoyed it to be fair plenty of shots at the keeper ........ corners been crossed into the box and loads of creative play round the area ........... now where is that nurse with my drugs ?????

 

We're playing one of the most on-form teams in the footie league. There's nothing to be "disappointed" about when it's 0-0 and it's interesting to see that Stockport are getting increasingly needled, with our surprisingly attritional tactics.

Can’t really criticise the players, they’ve not done much wrong. Just shocking tactics and no ambition.

It's a performance, that the Top 2 have typically been putting in all season - when playing a decent team.

This formation doesn't suit these players.

Clayton sounds like he's taken Smallwood's position, which is fine but where Smallwood is now clearly doesn't suit him.

Gilliead seems to have a freer role further up the pitch but any Google search will say he never provides assists so he's going to do nothing.

Eisa can't play to his strengths when he's narrow and too much inside.

Costelloe and Oliver - didn't they practice playing together for a week and a half? No one would know.

All in all if Hughes wants to play this formation then he needs to change some of the players.

We've not had a shot on target. What are you talking about? Happy clappers are why we will always have failure. We should expect at least a shot on target in any half of football.

 

Find it amusing that the Stockport commentators are surprised that we haven't had a shot on target, I'm not are you ?

Are we not writing players off after 1.5 matches. Christ! Even in our 18/19 relegation season, we gave them 10x that amount.

 

We come away with a point its good point but Christ that was a low quality half of football. To be honest I expected a lot better front them but they look unspectacular. Very poor standard

 

I often switch to the opposition commentary especially when our are being obviously overly positive. It's not always better though but sometimes gives a different perspective.

 

Some lads who have been shipped out and sat on the bench will be laughing there heads off watching that.
