Both teams cancelling each other out say the Stockport commentators. Not much quality on show from either side.

Fair assessment, they’ve had one really good chance and a half decent chance. We’ve created nothing, both teams sloppy.

 

He should have got a shot off, but it looked like a push in the back to me.

 

This match has left me disappointed so far. I think the formation change worked at first but now it just seems too easy to defend against as we are either playing narrow or lumping it to their defenders. Stockport changing between a five at the back and three at the back but we still lack players up the pitch to do anything. Nothing sticks and if we are hoping for a lucky chance then Cook has to be on the pitch

 

Scrappy, boring, Clayton and Bola look sound but Costelloe oh my dear absolutely useless and out of his depth ....

Not 100% sure but I thought it was that you can't recall a player within the first 28 days of a loan and you can only recall during the transfer window if there's a recall clause

Considering, myself included, thought we would get stuffed here (and still might!!) I'm surprised at some of the negativity.

At last Hughes seems to understand that L2 promotion is achieved with a lot of attrition and a bit of skill, i.e. see the top 3.

So I'm pleased to see that we look a bit nastier than normal. But ironically, this could be a Derek Adams team performance.

However, I like the pragmatism. Let's face it a draw at one of the football leagues most on form teams of the last three months, aint bad.

I was watching him defending one of the corners towards the end of the first half. Their defender bullied him completely, Costelloe ended up just hugging him. Penalty if the ref had seen it.
